Every year, Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves is the scene of a miracle. For 3 days, it multiplies its population by 150. Starting from nothing, this small Normandy village has managed to create the 7th largest associative festival in France, the Papillons de Nuit.
In 20 years, the inhabitants have woven a strong bond around an event that has become emblematic and vital. But with its voluntary work and its DIY System, this model has to face increasingly tough competition.
Welcome to those who, every year, mobilize for their festival and who, without respite, fight to keep their village alive.
