Mabil (15 ans) est passionn\u00e9 de danse contemporaine et cette passion le m\u00e8ne parfois \u00e0 s\u2019imaginer danser en\u00a0pleine rue. Pour lui, la danse n\u2019est pas une distraction, mais un besoin. Alors qu\u2019il veut organiser un spectacle\u00a0de danse le soir du Taajaboone, Bintou, sa m\u00e8re trouve que son engouement pour cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement est\u00a0d\u00e9shonorant. Elle s\u2019y oppose : la danse, ce n\u2019est pas pour les hommes. Apr\u00e8s avoir tent\u00e9 de la convaincre\u00a0plusieurs fois – sans succ\u00e8s – Mabil d\u00e9cide de lui d\u00e9sob\u00e9ir \u00e0 contre coeur, sachant que son choix peut d\u00e9truire\u00a0la relation qu\u2019il a avec sa m\u00e8re.
